After her husband's tragic death, Romy Kaplan goes missing. Her friends believe there's a lot more to the story than she's just headed off on an adventure, as the police seem to think.

True-crime podcaster Cristy Ward gets a call and decides to see if there might be more to Romy's disappearance. After noting a couple of suspicious things, she and her crew take a deeper dive into Rudy's suspicious death, Romy's unusual social media posts, and situations that have happened since Romy vanished.

This is the third book in the Cristy Ward series, and all of them have been delightful stories. They are part mystery/crime-solving, but there's also a human element involving updates into the lives of Cristy, her family, her ex and his new child, and all of Cristy's podcast crew. I enjoy catching up with them just as much as I enjoy the mystery at hand.

I didn't find it incredibly difficult to figure out the whodunit aspect, but it was still an enjoyable read.
