After 15 years of reviewing books, I walked away to care for parents who'd suffered strokes/brain cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. I needed the break, but I never stopped reading.

I've read avidly since a very young age, when Dr. Seuss brought me to magical lands. I progressed to S. E. Hinton, Lois Duncan, and Judy Blume in middle school. By high school, I adored Dean Koontz and Stephen King.

Mandated high school English books turned me off books until I was pregnant and grabbed my mom's Diane Mott Davidson cozy mysteries. I was hooked and haven't stopped. I want to share some of the books I find with other readers.
